Nikšić is located in Nikšić plain, at the foot of Mount Trebjesa. It is the center of Nikšić municipality (Population of 75,282), which is the largest municipality in Montenegro by area. When Ana went on holiday to Montenegro, she had bought (and sent) me this wonderful mapcard of Montenegro. Until then, she didn't knew that i collect mapcards. I have never been to Montenegro. Montenegro is the youngest european Country. It is the one six ex-yugoslavian republics. Montenegrins are very good waterpolo players. The men's national waterpolo team of Montenegro is actaul european champion.

Kotor (from anagahan & Anasty)

This was my first postcard from Montenegro. I've got it from Ana (anagahan) and Anastasia (Anasty) when they went on Holiday to Montenegro. Kotor is a very small coastal city in Montenegro, located in Gulf of Kotor. It is part the World Heritage Site Natural and Culturo-Historical Region of Kotor.

Durmitor, Montenegro (from anagahan)

Durmitor is a mountain and the name of a national park in Montenegro. It reaches a height of 2,522 meters (Bobotov Kuk). The Durmitor National Park, created in 1952, includes the massif of Durmitor, the canyons of Tara, Sušica and Draga rivers and the higher part of the canyon plateau Komarnica, covering the area of 390 km².

It was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1980. There are beatuifull landscapes and unique nature.

A part of the National park Durmitor is also the Tara River Canyon, 80 km long and 1,300 m deep, second largest in the world, just behind Grand Canyon in Arizona. Reed more...
